Our project in Kumbo Central is the largest undertaken by us to date. It will make a significant difference to the lives of thousands of people in the area. Five schools are all now complete and were handed over to the village communities in April 2014.
The river bridge at Roh-Kimbo is now almost complete and is providing a safe thoroughfare for schoolchildren. The Health Centre in Kovifem will have ten rooms completed by November 2014, when it will be opened to receive patients. This will be the first health centre to be operate in this area and will serve eight villages with a total population of 25,000. The final part of this project, the water supply for Taa-Mbve will soon be completed. SHUMAS is waiting for the corn harvest to finish so that the trenches can be dug for the pipeline. Around 4,000 people will benefit from the clean drinking water supplied by this project.
