Ecole Publique Bape Mondial is one of the primary schools that has recently applied for help from the SHUMAS/Building Schools for Africa partnership. Around 200 children have been studying in these makeshift classrooms since the school was created in 2012. Imagine the difficulty the children have trying to keep their work dry during the rainy season.
We are hoping that we will be in a position to provide sufficient funds to build three new classrooms, an office and a proper latrine at this school in the Centre region of Cameroon before the end of this year. It’s not really enough – but it will be a start!
