We recently received a wonderful donation of 21 reconditioned laptops from Willmott Dixon. These are destined for children in secondary education and will make an enormous difference to their ability to study and pass exams. In Cameroon around 90% of children write their end of course exam in Computing without ever having seen or touched a computer. These laptops will serve around 1200 students per year and, given that they should last four years, that would mean 4,800 would have the ability to work on a computer for the first time.
We are so grateful for this generous donation …. now we just have to wait for the pandemic to be over, so we can get them out to Cameroon!
