Thanks to the fabulous financial support we have received from this year, we have been able to help SHUMAS to construct classroom blocks at desperately needy schools, like the one in the picture above at EP Maye Ibbe in the Extreme North region of Cameroon.  This region is really suffering – not just from poverty and general lack of infrastructure such as good roads, clean water supplies and school buildings – but also because of the very real threat of Boko Haram extremists who come over the border from northern Nigeria and terrorise these communities.  

We have been able to send the funds to construct classrooms and clean water supplies at four more schools in this region.   They will be completed later this year and will really help to give the children hope for the future.
